The neighbour asked me to make these Frikadellen. The first attempt I loosely followed this recipe http://Authentic German Frikadellen / Danish Frikadeller – The Daring Gourmet but found there was too much black pepper. I tried a second batch which we all agreed was much nicer:

I used:

500g pork and beef mince

I medium onion finely chopped

1 Clove of minced garlic

50g Pl Flour

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp yellow mustard (not the powder)

1 tsp oragano

2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp mixed spice

1 large egg

I combined it all in the stand mixer for 5 minutes and fried in lard.
